The Frenchgate Shopping Centre is a major retail hub located in the heart of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. With high footfall and evolving public needs, the centre required a practical yet visually appealing solution for its public seating areas.
We were brought in to resolve this challenge by designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke seating zones throughout the centre. Each area was built to comfortably accommodate 10–15 people, with layouts carefully considered to comply with Covid safety regulations at the time.
All furnishings were fully FIRA-compliant, ensuring long-term durability and safety without compromising on style. The result is a robust and attractive public space that enhances the overall shopping experience at Frenchgate.
